Sisal In Merida

The capital of the Yucatan is carved out of the overgrown landscape with Spanish and Mayan architecture. We toured the surrounding areas with old sisal haciendas. We were lucking enough to tour an abandoned hacienda, a refurbished hacienda turned into a Four Seasons and a operating sisal making hacienda (for tourist purposes).
